The Kolding facility is now fully operational, and it will have the capacity to handle more than 100.000 tonnes a year.
Rimeco deals with around 500.000 tonnes a year of scrap metal in Europe.
Managing director Klaus Peter Riggelsen said: “As a modern recycling company, we are committed to improving recycling and recovery rates for scrap metals, and we’ve identified Kolding Port as a key partner to facilitate our growth in Denmark.
“Kolding is ideally located to allow access to our core markets in Turkey and Europe, as well as increase the volume of scrap metal we are able to handle. We look forward to increase or corporation with Kolding Port to support our latest investment and cement the position of Rimeco.
