Despite the fact that the metal scrap business worldwide has been noticeable affected by the Covid-19 pandemic – both supply and demand has fluctuated severely – we experience a new tendency at Rimeco. We now load handy-sized freighters bound for more distant destinations at a higher frequency.
It is our positive experience that the demand for high quality Scandinavian steel and metal scrap is rising among customers located in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean and we are pleased to be able to deliver on that demand.
